There was so much energy in the hotel suite where the bridal party gathered on Saturday morning. Chris and Nikki are surrounded by a lot of sweet family and a family of friends and they were all there to stand by their sides as they said I do. The rooms were full to the brim with people and laughter and smiles. Emotions ran high as handwritten notes were passed through the doors for Chris and Nikki to read and it all became more real as their eyes welled up with tears reading each other’s words. Chris laughed with his guys and helped tie bow ties as he counted down to the first look. Nikki nervously tapped her toes in the make up chair and it wasn’t until Chris turned around and beamed at her during their first look that all her nerves were gone. Hand in hand is where they’re meant to be.

The ceremony was short and sweet and honored all that they hold dear. Family got up and shared readings. Their close friend officiated the ceremony. And it was all about friendship. Above anything Chris and Nikki are best friends and it showed throughout their entire day! The joy seeped over into the evening from the cocktail hour as guests mingled and danced and toasted the new Mr and Mrs! Nikki’s unwavering patience and kindness paired with Chris’s fun and adventure means they balance each other out perfectly. Over and over, their friends referenced the way that these two are better together.

I don’t think I can remember a wedding where so many people went out of their way to tell me how wonderful the bride and groom were. All evening long, Chris and Nikki’s dear friends sung their praises. They talked about how fun and caring and how in love they clearly were. They’ve been together for years and you could tell that everyone in attendance had been anxiously awaiting this day. We just had the best time with the two of them! They’re truly kind and crazy fun people and we felt so lucky to be a part of their wedding day! The day passed in the blink of an eye and we felt like we were leaving good friends as we packed up for the night.
