Chloë exudes an indescribable type of light. The room brightens when she walks in. And on her wedding day, it was just the same. All twelve of her bridesmaids were bustling around the house and when Chloë walked in the bustling stopped and the oohing and ahhing started. With only her hair done, she was already breathtaking! She’s got a confidence of knowing exactly who she is and it just pours out of her and is so contagious to be around. It was no surprise to me that so many wonderful women would surround Chloë on her wedding day!

The morning flew by and soon enough, Chloë was walking out to meet Stephen under a tree. Stephen had his eyes shut tight, not wanting to see his bride quite yet. They prayed together and read their own promises to each other and joy just overflowed. Soon enough, Stephen was blinking back tears as he watched his soon to be wife walk down the aisle to him. They’d already lived a lot of life together, and this ceremony was the official beginning of their family. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to become husband and wife after raising a child together for over a year! It was beautiful in every way.

The rest of the day was such a celebration! The Jones and Sherrod families have already been blended for quite some time and it was so incredibly fun to see them dancing together all night! Family and friends from all different walks of life came together on the dance floor. They toasted the family that Stephen, Chloë, and their son Taddeo had become. They toasted Stephen’s remarkable character and the way he loves the people around him so well. They toasted Chloë and her individuality. And more than anything, people kept remarking on their faith and the way they loved God. The dance floor was packed and there wasn’t a moment that Stephen and Chloë weren’t chatting with their guests, one of them with Taddeo on their hip.

It was such a privilege to be the ones capturing their wedding day. We truly felt lucky all day long to be in the presence of such a visible bond between these two. More than anything, we’re so excited to see what the future holds for their family. God’s already done so much, but that doesn’t mean He’s done yet :] Here’s to forever!
