I can still remember Cindy’s first email to me…”Nothing but the top of a mountain would do.” You see, Andrew proposed on top of a snowy mountain, so the mountains are their happy place. And when it came to becoming husband and wife? Nothing but the top of a mountain would do. As we drove up the windy mountain to Irvine Estate, we knew that this was the perfect setting. Clear skies and a 360 degree mountain view! Cindy was calm as ever in the bridal suite. Everything was in place for her to marry her love, what would there be to stress about? In fact, this might be the most stress free bridal party I’ve ever seen! Cindy excitedly stepped into her dress and with one zip, she was a perfect princess in her Cinderella dress. She was a vision and her girls could not stop affirming that very fact! Andrew was perfectly calm as well, laughing with his guys and waiting for ceremony time. When the time came, there were tears in Cindy’s eyes as she walked down the aisle to make it official with her best friend of five years.

After they said their vows a fog fell over the mountain. The mountain view was exchanged for a rainbow which was then exchanged for a thick fog and a little bit of rain. But Andrew and Cindy didn’t care! Instead, it was time for snuggle weather on the porch and under umbrellas. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the way Andrew picked Cindy up and spun her around in the drizzling rain on top of that mountain! The whole day was an intimate celebration and so much fun! A lot of Andrew and Cindy’s friend groups overlap, so it was like a big reunion on the dance floor! Their family was beaming all night long and guests were letting tears slide down their cheeks during the sweet dances and laughing during the toasts. It was the perfect evening!

We loved our day with Andrew and Cindy. Between Andrew’s way of making Cindy laugh with whispered jokes and the way she lights up when he hugs her tight, it was a dream. We drove back down the mountain and through the fog with full hearts! Hope you enjoy a look at their Irvine Estate wedding!
