Family sessions have become a joyful staple of KPP after 9 years in business. Maybe it’s because I cherish my own little kiddos so much? Maybe because my unexpected love of motherhood snuck up on me? Either way, family photos are here to stay! Seeing families grow and helping to cement the way they remember fleeting seasons is a distinct privilege that makes me light up!
I firmly believe that pictures are the very best way to press PAUSE on the best of times. The way your little girl holds onto your finger. The way your husband squeezes you tight. The way your big boy lays his head on your shoulder because he still needs you.
Pictures are the only weapon I have against the ticking clock. Because to take a picture of my baby means that that moment is safe, frozen, and held forever. It’s the only thing I can revisit over and over to remember just what he was like when our family was in a specific season of life.
And I want that for you too. And let’s be honest. You deserve this. You deserve to be in images with your babies. You deserve to be on the other side of the camera. You deserve to feel the beautiful, wonderful, chaos that is your life and to be able to recall it with perfect clarity.

newborn sessions
Congratulations sweet friend on your new arrival! Newborn sessions have a soft place in my heart because I’ve been there - I’m still in the thick of it with my own little babies in so many ways.
And I’ve realized just how sweet and overwhelming and emotional and joyful and challenging and exhausting and blissful and brand new those first few weeks of parenthood feel. A baby has been born, but also, so has a mother. A father.
Watching new parents find their footing is my very favorite. Those first few weeks as parents are such a tender blur of learning and stumbling and little victories and being so overwhelmed with love. What a privilege to get to freeze time for families!
Your time during your newborn session is a time to press pause on all the newness that life has thrown your way and to just sit and rest and celebrate the new human that your family is reorienting around. I’ve structured these sessions to be in your home, in a lifestyle context, so that you can be relaxed and encouraged in the early days. The fuzzy, bleary eyed, head over heels in love, exhausted days of early parenthood.

Newborn Sessions start at $550 for 90 minutes of snuggly in-home coverage. Add-on sessions available upon booking.
Over the years, Kaitlyn has taken tremendous care of documenting our family’s growth. During the photos, the editing, and everything in between, Kaitlyn is such a cheerleader and always delivers beyond my expectations. Her flexibility and encouragement during family sessions is a dream, and she always gives the extra effort and time to ensure there are quality photos of my entire family. Our house is covered in her prints, including holiday cards and grandparent gifts. What a joy it has been to hire Kaitlyn to document these special moments! I will always cherish not only how easy the photo sessions go, but the images of me and my family!

We did a mini session for our maternity photos with Kaitlyn recently and she captured the most phenomenal photos in just 30 minutes! She made us feel so at ease during the session and was incredibly helpful in making us comfortable in front of the camera. Turn around time for receiving the photos was quick, we received so many more photos than expected, and the quality of the photos is outstanding. A testimony to your talent! When we were getting ready for our mini session I was fresh out of a relationship and my toddler was not cooperating. With all that I didn’t at all feel beautiful. But you made everything comfortable and reminded me that the session wasn’t about photos. It was about capturing the beauty in the messy middle and in the mundane.
