So there’s no other way to start this than to say that my dad is ridiculous. Only he would leave a voicemail telling me that I needed to be in Northern Virginia on the 6th of October for his high school reunion because he has no other options…basically guilt tripping me and my husband into coming up to photograph the “photobooth.” So basically, we got to relive my dads glory days with him all night long at Paradiso’s in Alexandria. And let me tell you, it exceeded and blew any expectations I had out of the water. This was the reunion for Hayfield High School for the latter half of the classes of the 70s; so as you can imagine, it was quite a party!
Below are some of my favorite images and memories from shooting the photobooth portion of the reunion! Hope you enjoy!
This group of ladies knows how to have fun!
They even wanted a jumping picture :]
And there’s my dad in the orange glasses…yes he’s responsible for all of the props…
Two crucial elements to the party: the random sax player and Karen the party planner and reunion extraordinaire.
work it.
Me and Daddy!
Dad and some of his childhood friends! Clearly he was the life of the party with the orange hat from the photbooth!
Sorry for my absence! It has been a busy couple weeks :] BUT I’ve got lots coming soon! Come back soon :]
