Yayyyyyy! Welcome to my new internet home! I’m seriously so excited to have my own domain, one of the many teeny tiny baby steps of the giant step that is coming soon! (can you tell I’m excited? I’m rambling and using poor grammar!)
So, just as a preface, this site will be changing cosmetically for a month of so until I finalize some branding, but this is my permanent home! Kaitlyn Phipps Photography is here to stay :] I’m so glad to have you all with me in the very beginning of this new adventure. One of the things I’m most excited about is that I can hear from you guys now because you can now leave comments on the blog…so go ahead, test it out today :]
And as if this change today wasn’t enough, David and I just purchased a camera! A Canon 60D. I’m in love already and we thought this would be a great step before investing in the Mark series!

Also! Here’s my final announcement….I’m going to have a meltdown tomorrow. No seriously, it’s scheduled for 1:30pm in Washington DC… The wonderful Abby Grace had a giveaway recently where a blog reader could win a seat to the What’s Next Tour, Justin & Mary’s tour across the states to help photographers love what they do, push themselves, and live their dream. And…I WON! I got the news while I was at Cru’s winter conference and literally stood up and turned around in circles shouting…luckily my friends are used to random outbursts like this…
Seriously, I am so thrilled and so humbled to have this opportunity to meet photographers who have really made their dream come true and to learn from Justin and Mary. I’m going to be so nervous and excited and overwhelmed and freaking out and every emotion in the book that it might be hard to understand me tomorrow (you know, between bursting into tears and screaming). BUT I know that I will come out of it still totally overwhelmed, but with direction and encouragement. I’ll be back Friday to tell you all about it/word vomit!
Now if only I knew what I was wearing…
