Happy Easter blog friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with family, friends, or just getting some down time. I had such a wonderful time celebrating with my husband, my sister, my dad, and our wonderful church family in Radford. I feel like Easter often brings up lots of questions, I know that it does for me. I think its really easy to look at something like Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection, the very event we celebrate as a thing of the past. But, as I was reminded yesterday at church, we are invited into Jesus’ resurrection. He calls us to new life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says that we are a NEW creation. None of the old should be left to hold on to.
One of the reasons I love working for Cru so much is that I get to see changed lives every day. Every time I meet with a student I hear about how God is working. And I know the weight it holds in my own life to know that I am so different in Christ than I would be without him. So in honor of Easter, I’m posting something from the biggest media project I’ve been working on this semester. Below are two links to videos of a sophomore and freshman at Radford that have been changed by the Gospel, resurrected with Christ. A new creation.
