Well, it’s been a whole year since I married my love! I really cannot believe it. Time has flown in the best way. This time last year we had just returned from our honeymoon and were just starting to try and figure out what our lives would look like together. Marriage has been so much more than I ever expected it to be. There’s something about sharing life with your best friend that fills your heart. I still feel excited and lucky to wake up in the same place as him.
It’s been an especially amazing first year because we’ve gotten to share in everything. We have the privilege of doing ministry together and sharing in the adventure of this small business. We get to cook dinner together, stay up late laughing, dance around the kitchen, and share in community in Radford together. It’s been amazing.
This is not to say that it hasn’t been hard, that it was only ever butterflies and rainbows, or that this entire year was absolute bliss. But it was good. And I think if we continue to pursue God and each other, we’ll only have more good things to say every year.
We celebrated one year together by going to Abingdon, which I’ll share in another blog post, but we spent the majority of the day waltzing around Abingdon and taking a billion self portraits thanks to having a shutter remote! Hope you enjoy :]
…the beginning of the end. I got it to work :]
