Happy Monday friends! I’ve finally hit the realization that there are more summer days behind us than ahead of us! Womp womp. That is sad. But it means Fall is on the way and (hopefully) it will finally cool down! David and I had a super chill weekend of babysitting and crafting and a Saturday where I got home from a wedding before 8pm! What?! Absolute miracle! I’m really excited because this coming weekend is going to be full of wedding celebrations and a baby shower for one of my best friends! And I get to be reunited with the 50mm 1.2 for a family shoot…aka some good stuff is coming your way. And what better way to kick off a sweltering summer afternoon than a pretty bridal shoot!
Meet Tabitha. She is super sweet, with a quiet personality and a laugh like twinkling bells. From our weeks of communication before the bridal shoot I knew that she was a trooper because we rescheduled this shoot THREE times! It was the two weeks of torrential downpour in Virginia and Tabitha’s wedding was fast approaching! Luckily, we waited it out and ended up shooting at the beautiful Sinkland Farms on a chilly Monday morning at sunrise! Not only did I love revisiting David and I’s wedding venue, it was an absolute blessing to be able to shoot there! And better yet, to shoot such a beautiful bride! Congratulations on being a newlywed Tabitha! I hope your wedding day was a dream!
Ugh, sunrise! You get me everytime! I wish I could bottle up that light!!
What UP homemade bouquet!
Can’t you just hear her laughing in this? Tabitha, you are too cute.
Tabitha’s husband plays guitar in the worship band at their church, so Tabitha brought a guitar along for fun!
