Days like today make me super thankful for my husband. He puts up with me, more than that, he actually enjoys being with me! (I know, it still baffles me) He shares my excitement when I get a new planner or notebook (even though he is internally rolling his eyes). He immediately gets on the board when I decide our Sunday afternoon is going to be moving furniture all the way upstairs so I can have an office space. He gets things out of the oven for me without question because he knows I am afraid to burn myself. He does all of the dishes because he knows I get anxious about them. He talks me down when I’m overwhelmed and going crazy. He shares my burden with me. He prays for me when I have a migraine. He doesn’t care that the first thing I do when I come in the house in the evening is put on pajama pants (legitimately, I live in them). And he gets me a glass of water every single night before he goes to bed and puts it on my end table…and I can always measure if I’ve stayed up much too long if the ice melts before I’m in bed.
Anyways. The last couple days have been long! Really really awesome, but incredibly tiring. David’s been working a ton so I haven’t seen him much, and I have been too! But, there is nothing like coming home and knowing that I can sit on the couch and eat icee pops with my best friend and watch one tree hill for the 11th time. Here’s to you, Jobin.
Our friend Mark took all of these for us after we finished his wife’s maternity session at sunrise! Thanks Mark, I love them!
Also…he just came in and gave me the last bite of his icee pop….and we all know that’s the best part.
