They met at a New Years party. Brian remembers noticing her and going over to make conversation with her. He noted how out of character it was that he did that, he’s usually so introverted. Caitlin joked back that it must of been her charm and good looks that drew him in. He nodded sincerely.
I have been DYING to share this beautiful couple since last Sunday when we shot their engagement session. I’ve known Caitlin since last year when we met at Cru and through our church. She was one of the first people I didn’t actually known super well that told me she’d been following the blog. It was the biggest encouragement! So of course, when Caitlin’s facebook page was a flutter with “congrats!” and “you’re engageds!” I secretly hoped that she’d want me to shoot her wedding, and then not even a full week later she got in touch with me! Eek! I was so excited.
If anything, spending a couple hours with these two made David and I even MORE excited to shoot their wedding. We had an absolute blast and loved getting to know them and hear more of their story. Caitlin and Brian just rest easier around each other. It is clear that they were meant to be and fit together in a perfect, divine sort of way. And ps: they laugh a lot, and that is my favorite. We were cracking up all night long. From Brian’s “smolder” that he absolutely nailed, to dodged people in the cornfield, we just had fun. And that my friends, results in beautiful images.
Caitlin and Brian, you two are the bomb. I cannot wait for June!
Eek. Most of the time Brian was just making Caitlin laugh and it was the sweetest.
Okay, Caitlin. Bring it, gorgeous girl.
Save the Date for the Win!

PS: it’s there two year anniversary! Leave them some love!
