Happy Monday beautiful friends! I hope you are LOVING the snowy/icy weather as much as I am. I spent a lot of my time this weekend huddled in front of our tree watching Glee episode after Glee episode, loving old Christmas movies, and burning through a ton of scented candles. And of course, cuddling my sweet puppy. Who I’ve also affectionately named the Vampire Puppy because one second he is cuddly and adorable and the next he is attacking with his tiny puppy teeth. It’s so hard to be mad at him when he’s wearing his little christmas sweater though!

This past week, we finished up meeting with all of the Radford students for the semester. I cannot believe this semester is over and that we’re already halfway through with this school year. But as I walked on campus today, I felt a significant amount of freedom in seeing all of the tired yoga pants wearing students, knowing that I did not have the stress of finals looming over me! Praise the Lord that I’m done with school, but I still get to enjoy the beauty of campus life! This week we decorated our tree and got all Christmasy up in our tiny house. We had the last Cru of the semester…aka Christmas Cru, where we all wear tacky sweaters (basically a normal day for me). We also listened to a ton of Christmas music and ate a zillion sugar cookies. Can you tell that I love this time of year?

Ready, set, FEELS!

• I still long for a real Christmas tree even though our Target bought fake tree means that there are no pine needles on the ground and is significantly less expensive. Luckily, our Christmas candle is keeping it smelling of evergreen 24/7.
• We had a Pinterest Party with the women of Cru and I finally got to repair my crazy 12 hour project of a wreath from last year. After taking the entire thing apart and using a ton of duck tape, our door is looking real good.
• I’m starting to realize just how sad our DIY Christmas decorations were last year. Thank goodness for family hand-me-downs!
• Jonathan Taylor Thomas’s “I’ll be Home for Christmas” is the absolute best. It cannot be beat. I watched it two nights in a row and loved his 90s charm.
• We got our friend Krysta to help us with our Christmas card yesterday evening. Ours last year was perfect, and it is going to be a challenge to top it’s cheesiness.
• I heard Christmas Shoes for the first time this year….I laughed so hard…sang…and then started to cry. That song is the worst, man.
