Ahhh readers. I’m currently sitting on Radford’s campus in Starbucks, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of students going about their days. Does anyone else feel at peace when the world is moving fast around them and they are able to stand still? That’s me in a nutshell. Busy conversations and frantic coffee runs are taking place and I’m breathing in the fresh aroma of coffee (which smells great, but let’s be honest, tastes nasty) and doing what I love. It’s a good Monday people.

This weekend was my first wedding of 2014! And wow! What a way to start the year. I’ll be sharing more soon, but I am floored at the fact that this is happening! My wedding season has started up and I couldn’t have asked for a better start. The sun decided to come out and give us freakin awesome weather, if only for a day, and the night ended at 5:30pm. Perfect day for the win! Also, I got to capture this epic exit shot. Totally made my day.

Now for some feels:

• Everyone’s disappointment over the Superbowl yesterday mirrored my disappointment for football always. When I look at a game on television, I immediately start to zone out and muse over what the world would be like without sports. Needless to say, I was happy to have some not so involved plans to play cards with instead.
• It’s my sister’s 22nd birthday! One, where has the time gone? I feel like I’m still 22. Two, wish her a happy birthday full of puppies and cuteness. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEY!
• I love love love love love winter light. The hazy glow of a winter sunset makes my heart smile.
• Bruno Mars made me pine for 50s music to be cool again. That gold blazer and synchronized instrument carrying dance moves automatically brought me back to long nights in the car with my dad and sister, bopping along to his 2 disc best of the 50s cd.
• Popcorn is the perfect thing to throw for wedding exits.
