Oh goodness gracious. Snow is legitimately piling up outside, blocking us in. The world looks like a snow globe today and it is glorious. That has kind of been the theme of this winter. Freezing snow or freezing rain. Super intense wind and cold temperatures. But thankfully, almost two weeks ago, there was a perfect 50 degree day. And that was the day that Paul and Kristen said “I do.”
I love getting to capture love and tell a story through images…and it is just a bonus when you are getting to tell your friends’ story. :] Paul and Kristen are a part of our little community in Radford, and with the way that they compliment each other, it is clear that they are not made to be apart. Paul and Kristen and their dear friends and family spent the day bustling around the basement of our church, frolicking in the rare February sun, and dancing the evening away. Kristen shed happy tears over the bigness and grandness of this new commitment and Paul proclaimed that “of course Kristen looked beautiful” because he wouldn’t expect any less.
I remember Kristen excitedly telling me about being engaged and when I asked when the big day was, she just smiled really big and said as soon as possible. Paul and Kristen couldn’t imagine being anything but married for any longer and on February 1st, everything changed. No more goodbyes.
They promised forever, sealed it with a kiss, and rode off into the sunset. Here’s their day.
What a WONDERFUL group of bridesmaids :]
Headed to the first look and looking stunning while doing so. This is one of those happy accident images that I’m now in love with.

Dramatic bridal party in the photobooth.
