Oh my. I am so excited to bring you today’s engagement session! It feels like it has been the LONGEST week and a half ever. 9 days since I shot this session and I’ve been itching to share it ever since. I love getting to share images here on the blog and I especially love sharing when the couple already have a special place in my heart :]
So first, meet my friend Meghan. I actually met Meghan through Cru her freshman year and my junior year. I always remember noticing her because of her sweet country accent and her awesome laugh. Meghan and I got to know each other for real though in the Bonnie. The Bonnie is the student center on Radford’s campus. It’s home to Starbucks, and a couple other dining places. But mostly there’s just tons of tables where students hang out all of the time. Basically, life just happens in the Bonnie. As I always tell my girls in small group, if you haven’t cried in the Bonnie you haven’t really lived. It’s a right of passage. So really, I met Meghan in the Bonnie. One emotional conversation and there it was, we were friends. Many Glee viewings (seriously, we had a standing Glee/New Girl date for a couple years) and Cru events later, Meghan met this WONDERFUL man and is now engaged. What?! Time flies friends.
Adam and Meghan are just fun. Meghan is super fun on her own, but man, Adam really brings it out in her. Just like she brings that out of him. They are the kind of people that you can just be yourself around. And they embrace awkwardness at all times. If that’s not inviting, then what is? For example, Meghan shared that when they had their first kiss they had been sitting on the couch and Meghan just started playing the song “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?” THAT is the kind of relationship they have. :] Of course, Adam held out and kissed her later that evening, despite the pointed hint! They are just really, really fun. They laugh loud and love loud.
So, of course, their engagement shoot was a dream. Love you guys!
Meghan, you. are. great.
Ugh, you guys are too much :]
There is just something about southwest Virginia sunsets.
lovelovelovelovelove!
