Happy beautiful, wonderful Monday friends! Today’s beautiful for so many reasons. I’m coming out of a lovely, joy filled weekend and today’s a day for celebrating and remembering those who have fought hard for us. And today is also marks two years of marriage for the Phipps :] I have loved sharing life with my sweet Jobin and I can’t wait to spend all day in each other’s company. Today is good my friends.

I think and hope this past weekend was a good indicator of how this summer will go. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL weekend. Traveling on Friday to Richmond, adventuring around. Spending a perfect wedding day with clients that are now dear friends. And then a full and fun Sunday. This summer is gonna be a good one. I can just feel it. Without further adieu, I’m going to head off and celebrate with my Jobin.

But as always, some feels:

• We got the privilege of staying at Fireside Drive aka the home of our friends Tyler + Ashley in Richmond on Friday. As sad as it was that they were off shooting a wedding of their own, it was sweet to experience the generosity of 1. fellow photographers 2. good friends. I’m thankful for you guys and your cute little home.
• We also took up their suggestion and headed to Gelati Celesti for a late night snack and were SUPER impressed. We are almost always up for ice cream.
• A bride that greets you with a big hug, excited scream, and headband with a giant bow = a winner.
• After the wedding on Saturday, we took a late night drive back to Radford and of course, were starving. So where do you go at 11PM? Taco Bell. And we were met with possibly the most cheery Taco Bell employee of all time. Kudos to you and good luck on your term paper that you told us about in full detail.
• David’s quote of the week and in honor of our anniversary… David: We are cool! Me: Are we? David: That’s not the word….
