I am falling in love with weddings. I mean I’ve always loved the details and the planning and the excitement, but seeing two families come together is a beautiful thing. And so unique.
That was Jonathan and Cary’s big day, two sets of families and friends coming together. All fans of Jonathan AND Cary, all there to cheer them on in this journey of marriage and celebrate the covenant they’re making with the Lord. And of course, commemorating that with a killer dance party. From the beautiful Bolling Haxall House that housed the reception to the stunning church that was the perfect fit for Jonathan and Cary’s “I do’s” it was a classy and elegant affair the whole way through.
Jonathan stood on the steps of the Capitol building waiting for his bride and when he turned around to see her everything was alright. No more goodbyes, only goodnights. Love and praise for the Lord was so evident and so primary in their day. The beautiful reality of their marriage is that they were two sinners marrying each other, committing to loving each other through difficulty and embracing each other in joy.
Jonathan and Cary, it was an absolute privilege! I hope you enjoyed Jamaica and are LOVING married life.
