World, meet Mr and Mrs Matthew Reppert. I don’t have many words to sum them up because I feel like I’ve used them all previously and because there just aren’t enough. Free spirited. Adventurous. Romantic. Redeemed. Spontaneous. Bold. Adorable. All words that could easily describe Matt and Becca as individuals and as a couple. David and I have known them both separately for so long now, that it is even more evident that they are only complete with each other.
Shooting a close friend’s wedding is so different than I could’ve imagined it. Matt and Becca were the first couple this summer that were really a big part of our lives before choosing us as photographers. Not to mention, David was in the wedding! So it was for sure a different type of day. The story that was coming to both an end and a new beginning in marriage was so personal. Matt and Becca have both been so changed by the Lord in the last several years that this day as a reality was surreal. Their story of redemption was coming full circle. And not only was this the start of a marriage and a lifelong adventure together as a couple, but also as a family. Becca not only became a wife to Matt, but a mom to Caroline, his awesome daughter!
It was a beautiful tearjerker all day long. And it was the beginning of the new Reppert family as they set out on an epic adventure together.
I have always ALWAYS admired Becca’s style. Wait til you see the dress :]
Oh gosh Becca, so elegant.
The only thing close to the groom’s face when the bride walks down the aisle…his face when his daughter walked down the aisle. Now this friends, is where I really broke down. I was close enough to hear Matt tearfully say, “Aw, she’s smiling!”
Their first act as a married couple was washing each other’s feet. Seeing Becca bend down and serve her husband in that dress…man, the symbolism was not lost.
YES! MARRIED!
New family on the right :]
Also so fun to know a lot of the bridal party! What a crazy day!
Ahhhh and finally time for portraits. These two.
Ugh. Love.
That face on the right is classic Becca.
Practically everything that Becca filled Bowle’s Farm with was handmade. And it was all too sweet.
Can we just talk about this cake topper that she made?!
On the left: what every couple is thinking as they cut cake with 100+ onlookers.
Oh and more portraits because why nottttt.
I’d just like to note that the bottom left image is my Pastor. Loving life!
Becca and Sara aka SayWahl are just about addicted to the wobble.
Congratulations friends! We love you to pieces!
PS: could NOT have done this day without the help of Glorianna Picini Photography and my friend Brooke! Love you two.
