Today feels like the first day of school! I put my planner back in my Vera Bradley tote this morning, David packed me lunch, and I dressed like it is already Fall. That’s right, today was the first day of Cru staff for the school year. And that means things are about to get real crazy.
This weekend marked the end of my first real deal summer season! And it was an especially good one. A Roanoke garden wedding meant that we stayed in town for the weekend for the first time in so very long. And it was the perfect wedding to end on, full of incredibly sweet people that were so lovely to be around. Now that the busy season for photography is over, the busy season for Cru starts up. From now until the first weekend of October it is going to be a whirlwind of new faces, good conversations and lots of anticipating how the Lord will change Radford’s campus this year. I am so excited to see what year 3 of ministry is going to be like! And back to school specials at Target and multitudes of organizational tools make me a little nostalgic for back to school shopping….and new pencils and September 1st on the Hogwarts Express.
Feels time!
Look forward to this Roanoke wedding on the blog next week :]
