Happy September 1st! Don’t know if you’re able to read this…because all of the nonMuggles are on the Hogwarts Express by now. Just in case you’re NOT speeding through the british countryside on your way to a magical school year, I decided to still post today. You know, just in case.

I would say “HAPPY FALL FRIENDS!” but, sorry to burst your bubble, summer does not technically end until September 22nd. Heck yes! That means I’ve got a world of time (22 days) to get my act together and finish the summer bucket list. I’m not going to lie, it is a little hard with warm Starbucks drinks and cool blankety Fall nights calling my name. Root for me friends! I’ve got some experiences to get to having in the next 3 weeks.

This last week has been full to the brim of seeing friends and catching up and how was your summer’s and wahwahwahhhhhh school work. I gotta admit, it’s weird that David has homework. At least I have someone to sit in the office with me burning the midnight oil…do people still say that?

Some feels for ya Monday:

• I read three books in the last two days….THREE FULL BOOKS. I think I have issues. Is there a twelve step program for book addicts?
• Something I learned this weekend (that was really just reinforced): I am very easily scared. On Saturday, in the midst of my reading coma, I was disturbed by a terrifying raprapraprapraprap on my back door. Cue freakout. Turns out it was just my small group girls trying to be sweet and funny. Oops.
• We had a dance party for the beginning of the year this weekend and upon asking my friend to show me her dance moves, she said, “Oh well it is mostly guns.” She then demonstrated spastic finger guns and it was perfection.
• Some advice for your entertainment budget: Redbox If I Stay, don’t go to the theatre. Not worth it. Made a perfectly good book only lackluster.
• Some more advice: if you hear a huge BANG in the movie theatre, don’t look back. Someone may have fallen out of their movie chair, and dropped their drink, letting it roll to the front of the theatre. And you may almost die laughing during the most serious part of the movie.
