Christmas music is everywhere and it is making my heart smile! I’ve always been a firm believer in no Christmas celebration until the day after Thanksgiving, but no-sir-ree, not anymore! I’m embracing David and I starting our own traditions. Soooooo I’m calling it. The Phipps are Christmas people. Three weeks just isn’t enough to soak it all in. So the Michael Buble Christmas album started on repeat as of Friday for me. I. Love. Christmas.

In other news, Winter Mini’s were this weekend! They certainly helped me get into this Christmas obsessed mood. There’s nothing like throwing buckets of fake snow to put you in the holiday spirit. I had so much fun with the families who came out and cannot wait to get them back their images. I’m moving into the whirlwind of holiday madness and spending time with sweet people this weekend was the perfect way to get ready for that.

Now for feels:

• Actual quote from David about Neville this week: “Sometimes I want to squeeze him…until he’s flat.” He just gets me.
• David, my sister Kelsey, and I deep cleaned the house yesterday…not fun in the moment. But it is super satisfying to see no dust, no dishes, and no mail cluttering the house. Also it was only made better by rewarding ourselves with ice cream and Parks and Rec afterwards.
• I’ve got this secret desire to reach 1000 likes on Facebook before January 1st! I don’t know why, I just think it’d be fun! Guess it’s not a secret anymore 😀
• The best thing to motivate children in a family shoot?! Surprises. Aka candy canes, hot chocolate, and fake snow. The entire shoot was a countdown to throwing snow!
• Also this resulted in a little bit of disaster. Little Meira ran towards a rainbow in the sky on Saturday and it was just too much for her! The hot cocoa went everywhere!
• And my favorite thing from the last week…my sister was baptized yesterday! I’m going to post a couple images this week and tell you more. But it was so sweet to see how God has worked in her life :] I’m never gonna forget that moment!
