Something I am absolutely loving this season is meeting new people! This business has been “official” for a year and a half now, so of COURSE, most of my clients were friends and friends of friends! I loved that season. And I loved going to a ton of weddings this summer that were full of familiar faces. But something that I’m loving right now is that couples are booking me who don’t know me! Eek! That makes me happy! I’m getting to know all of these new people, getting invited into such a special time in their lives, and getting to hear their unique stories.

And that is the case with Ryan and Vicki! From the first email, Vicki was all excitement and spunk and I finally got to meet her a couple weeks ago. Not to mention her sweet fiance Ryan. These two are loves with so much in common. Spending time with them at the Manassas Battlefield Field was like spending time with two old friends. We laughed a ton as they recounted their first date to the Renaissance Fair, that Vicki ever so cleverly arranged, and just laughed a lot in general. I love getting to spend time with couples who laugh a ton and can be themselves :]

These two adventurers are getting married in a little less than a year and I couldn’t be more excited! Hope you enjoy their Manassas Battlefield engagement.
