This week is going to be a little bit of a crazy one. It’s the beginning of this oddly timed busy season! Let’s just say, before today I was feeling pretty guilty about sitting on the couch all weekend and watching the office…but not anymore my friends! Right about now, when I’ve just gotten home for a full day of Cru staff and know that I’m going to be continuing to work quite a bit tonight, I’m feeling pretty good about my lazy choices.

Let me just give you a forecast, as I’m bound to slack a bit on blogging with the next few weeks looking the way they are. Radford University, aka where we do campus ministry, has FIVE weeks off for winter break. And somehow in that break we’ve booked 3 weddings (all three out of town), a full round tour of Virginia for our Christmases, portrait sessions, and two conferences! Eek! I am going to sleep for days come January 6th! The bright side is that this timing is too perfect. We’d never be able to do this during a regular semester! So I’m looking forward to embracing the busy season and rejoicing in all of my favorite things happening so close together. We get to see friends and family, love on some wonderful brides and grooms, network with other wedding professionals, AND go to our annual conference for Cru, which always starts the year off right.

It’s gonna be a doozy, friends. But a good kind of crazy that makes your head spin and your heart light. Fingers crossed :]

Feels time:

• The Office is pure gold. It’s one of those shows that you have to pay close attention to to catch everything. Jim and Pam are the perfect and best TV couple.
• This article here totally explains why I want to squeeze Neville until he’s out of breath and flatten him. Cute aggression makes me feel a little more normal. (what? you don’t get your facts from buzzfeed?)
• David has been writing papers nonstop since before Thanksgiving! I am ready to get my husband back come Thursday. But…it has enabled me to spend a lot of time on the couch reading and watching…yep you guessed it…The Office.
• Happy engagement season! I’ve been adding couples to the KPP family for 2015 and am loving it!
• I feel as if I am out of things to say due to the fact that all I’ve done is watch…The Office. Don’t. Judge. Me.
