Happy Monday! My days of the week are all out of sort, and I think they will continue to be for the next three weeks! So much so that I almost forgot to blog at all :] That’s what a Sunday wedding and traveling will do to you I guess!
Last week I told you guys that this is going to be the craziest holiday season ever. We’re shooting three weddings all by the 3rd of January! And now we can say one down! Joy and Luke were married yesterday and it was a beautiful celebration! The (now) Masons are on staff with us, so it was so much fun to be a big part of their day. From Joy’s father officiating the ceremony to her brother proposing during the reception, it was a tear inducing day all around :] I cannot wait to share more from this wedding SO soon!
I’m gonna keep it short and sweet, because today is Christmas #1 of 6! We’re currently in Norfolk with my makeshift office and want to make the most of time with family! Here’s some feels for ya:
- Have you ever chased a horse drawn carriage, eventually getting lost and never finding the bride and groom? Yeah. Me neither. Yesterday’s wedding had two firsts….a grand exit in a cinderella carriage and David and I speed walking/jogging to keep up with the carriage. This is why I wear flats people.
- Um did I mention I got to capture a PROPOSAL! Eek! It’s been over a year since I’ve gotten to do that and it was SUCH a celebration. Can’t wait to share that moment from the Mason reception!
- I’m going to brag on my husband for a minute! Not only did he finish his first semester of grad school..but he did so well! I’m proud of my Jobin. He balanced grad school, helping with the business, working for CRU, holding a GA position, and taking care of me. I’m thankful he gets a break for a month or so :]
- There’s nothing like watching Home Alone 2 with your friends and falling asleep on the couch before midnight. Did I mention we’re all 20-somethings? We’re the life of the party clearly.
- The soup, salad, and breadsticks deal at Olive Garden is winter perfection. But a word to the wise? Don’t feast on this and then go Christmas shopping. It induces sluggishness and sorely needing a nap.
More from the Mason celebration so very soon!
