What a year! If you had told me in 2013, that I’d shoot 12 weddings the next year! I legitimately would’ve laughed, in fact I did laugh when my friend Abby told me I’d shoot 8! Ahhh! We spent a lot of time in our little Prius, a lot of time editing through precious memories, and a lot of time making sweet friends. All in all, I’m so thankful for all 12 2014 weddings!
But there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes :] Here’s a little glimpse into what it looked like for us, behind the camera in 2014!
Let’s start with that one time Morgan and Drew took a picture of us :] And made us hold delicious cupcakes.
Because David’s waiting around stance is always the same.
One of David’s many jobs is holding gorgeous blooms.
Seriously loved these two.
Because waiting around at Historic Tredegar means headshots.
Oh you know, that time my mentor called me and said she was ELOPING in one week! So we made it happen.
The cutest second shooter there ever was.
Phew. And then there was that crazy day that David was a groomsmen in a wedding I was shooting…and the lovely Glorianne second shot and Brooke assisted. I quite literally could not have done this day without them. Look how legit they are!
And shortly after, Matt got a nose bleed on Becca’s dress. Probably my craziest wedding memory of the year!
Ben was probably either a guest or groomsmen at half of my weddings this year. Good thing I’m funny I guess!
This is why Glorianne will ALWAYS be my back up second shooter. This girl makes the day fun.
But I still love this guy’s help the most.
Best wedding dinner of all time.
And one of the prettiest venues!
David always looks so dapper in bridal suites.
And he rocks family formal lists.
Something that David thankfully refrains from on most wedding days…photobombing.
When the bride is your coworker? Selfie.
Bridal portraits are always a favorite part of the day.
And sparklers. I love them.
Conclusions? Next year David needs to take more pictures of us working :]
