Just yesterday on the blog I mentioned that lots of my friends are getting married! Not only that, but my friends who I’ve poured my life into and spent time walking through life alongside are getting married! And it’s surreal!! SO surreal.
My sweet friend Haley is getting married in less than one month now! You may remember her from the way she’s popped up on the blog when I’ve mentioned Cru and you may have seen her engagement pictures! It’s really hard to believe that the sweet girl that came to a small group 3 years ago has transitioned to almost being a wife, and amazing to think about the way God has transformed her during her time at Radford. Thankfully, she’s not done with Radford just yet, but it’ll be different.
So to celebrate her and this crazy big new exciting season of life she’s headed into, Emily and I threw her a bridal shower! And we had a lot of fun putting it together. Choosing things that were purely “Haley” was exciting and just so sweet to be able to do. It was a lot of fun and we made it pretty simple, so I thought it’d be a fun thing to share here. Not only to celebrate Haley, but to show you how we made this simple bridal shower happen!
Emily and I painted little “joy” canvases to leave some love for her guests. Haley’s favorite word is “joy” and she’s been fighting to choose that over the last year, so it was only appropriate to give that message to the guests as well :]
We also hosted at the lovely Crum and Get it in Radford, aka Haley’s favorite cookie shop.
