Nathan and Haley have a story unlike any other. And thankfully, everyone who was present at their Southwest Virginia wedding at the Barns at Chip Ridge got to bask in the sweetness of a divine love. Nathan, a boy from North Dakota and Haley, a girl from small town Abingdon VA. Who would’ve thought a Facebook group for a summer missions project would bring them together? And that 10 weeks together serving the Lord in New Hampshire would lead to a forever love and commitment to love Jesus together.
During Nathan and Haley’s ceremony, friends and family stood at the front of the sanctuary, sharing different seasons of their love story. They shared the funny beginnings and hard middle of being states apart and surviving on Skype, and the sweetness of their reunions over the last 2 years. Their guests laughed along at Nathan’s first Facebook message about Haley’s major and “ooooohed” at the sweetness of them watching movies over Skype together. Because even when you’re a 24 hour drive away from each other, you gotta have date nights. Their story is one of pursuit. Months and months of long distance meant planning trips back and forth and scheduling phone calls. They didn’t have a chance to take their relationship for granted. And there’s something really beautiful about that.
Nathan lit up when his bride was in his arms and Haley beamed out joy all day long. They celebrated down the aisle after being pronounced Mr and Mrs Magstadt and they swayed in each other’s arms to Ben Rector. Their guests danced the night away on the outdoor patio and cheered loud when fireworks went off in the distance to celebrate. It was a lovely day from start to finish and truly reflected the joy that Nathan and Haley choose day after day.
There aren’t words to cover last Saturday. Haley’s been such a dear friend for the last 3 years and I’ve had the privilege of seeing her grow into a beautiful woman of God and see her grow in her relationship with Nathan. It’s a blessing to have a front row seat to someone falling in love with both Jesus and their future husband at the same time. Haley, I’m SO so thankful for your sweet presence in my life.
June 13th marked an end to the endless countdowns and a goodbye to the goodbyes! And I know that Nathan and Haley couldn’t be more grateful.
I loved Haley’s sparkly details :]
So gorgeous.
This daddy daughter first look had everyone ugly sobbing. Including me into the back of my camera.
Such a beautiful moment. All of Haley’s girls gathered around her to pray for her before she walked out to meet Nathan.
Sand from the significant beaches in their relationship :]
When the pastor almost pronounces you husband and wife, but you haven’t exchanged the rings…and you call him out.
Such a fun group of best men!!
Love this.
Sunset and it was finally portrait time!
Love 😀
Love this of Haley walking back to her party.
Radford ladies :]
And they danced the whole night away.
