This week was a doozy. The KPP traveling office has been erected once again in Norfolk, VA as we’re on a two week journey from home. Thankfully we’ve got two wedding weekends in a row in our respective hometowns. So we’re touring Virginia and seeing our families and getting work done along the way.
This week started in Radford, but quickly led us to the 757 area. It’s been six months since we’ve done our long term travel routine, and let me just say, we don’t miss it. Packing for a two week trip, along with packing to shoot weddings and packing your entire workspace? It doesn’t come without some stress. But now that we’re set up, we’re making it work. I’m not so secretly plotting to get a laptop heavy duty enough to edit on so that we can stop lugging my iMac around :] Wish me luck in that endeavor! Since being in the Norfolk/VA Beach area, we’ve been spending time with family and friends and trying to do our best to stay inside. Goodness gracious, I’ve never been a huge fan of the outdoors…but really, really this summer is forcing me into the lovely A/C. We shot a beautiful wedding in Virginia Beach on Saturday and it might have been the hottest wedding day ever. Thankfully, the bride and groom were nothing but smiles as their guests sweated it out on the dance floor. Literally, sweat everywhere.

Speaking of gorgeous, Chris and Stephanie’s wedding day was full of it!
