It’s another Monday and another traveling office for us! This week brought us to Northern Virginia to visit with family and shoot a wedding and anniversary session. We’re working from the hightop counter in my mom’s kitchen and I’m about ready to get my desk back. One short day until I’m sitting in a chair that allows my feet to touch the ground :]
Every time we travel, we realized JUST how much stuff we have to bring along. It’s a balance of bringing all of our gear to shoot weddings, and bringing along all of our supplies to have a full work week while we’re traveling. Plus the pups and their stuff, plus any and all clothes we need. Phew. The upside is that we have the freedom to continue working and the Prius is surprisingly huge and the downside is unpacking and repacking constantly. Another upside is that this week’s traveling office comes with a DVR stacked with SharkTank episodes.
By the way, we’re now obsessed with Sharktank. Time for feels:
- I’m all about some sparkler exits (see below ;]). But they deliver a special type of adrenaline rush. There’s nothing like dodging guests holding fire while trying to get the shot to make your heart beat a little faster.
- Every time I come home, there’s ingredients waiting for me to make guacamole for everyone. It’s the little things :]
- Have I mentioned we’re obsessed with Sharktank? I’m not kidding when I say that David stands up in front of the television when the deals get heated.
- Calling all dog owners…Neville officially has what google calls “separation anxiety.” He freaks out when we put him in his crate and follows David…even to the bathroom. Any advice for us? He’s still cute as can be, but he’s driving us crazy!
- Am I the only one who’s in shock that it’s almost July. I feel like this summer is flying by and I haven’t even MADE a bucket list…much less completed any of it’s imaginary goals.
