Friends, I can’t even BELIEVE how long it’s been since I’ve done a depth of feels! Two whole and full weeks of life to catch you up on?! Ah! It’s overwhelming because SO much has happened since the last DOF. We launched the new brand, went on a mini vacation, shot a wedding and traveled up to NOVA for a split second so I could assist Abby at her workshop.

In short, it’s been crazy! Shortly after the last DOF we went on a crazy spontaneous beach trip and it was the best decision! Yes, it would’ve been really nice to go after the big brand launch like the original plan…but hey, a vacation is a vacation. We spent time with our toes in the sand, attempting to not get sunburned, and eating lots of yummy food. And then…it was time to put the brand together. We got back Friday night to our little house with, womp womp, no internet. So I spent the next three days camped out at my friend Krysta’s apartment and brought basically my whole office over there to make it work. But thankfully, we’re launched and it was SO worth the hard work! It made me shed happy tears as the comment love and texts flooded in. I’m just so thankful for you all sticking with me!

David’s dad and stepmom came to visit, so we spent a good portion of the week with them, and then it was wedding time once again! Cannot WAIT to share more from Megan and Tre’s day! It was so good to be shooting again, after a short break :] The next day we spent traveling up here so that I could be a part of Abby’s workshop yesterday. Which is why depth of feels is coming to you on a Tuesday :] As usual it was SO much fun to meet other photogs and be Abby’s assistant for the day :]

So THAT’S what has been happening around here. Here are some feels to go with it. :]

• We have been having wifi woes for over two weeks! Seriously, what did we do before the internet? David and I have spent more time fighting with Verizon on the phone than I thought was possible and we’re crossing our fingers that all will be well when we get home tonight!
• Working at my friends apartment wasn’t all bad…especially because it was Krysta’s! Some perks of working at Krysta’s house…candles everywhere!!! blankets everywhere!!! and york patties in the freezer :] Krysta, if some are missing…now you know.
• Every time someone says “back in the day” I think of that Dane Cook bit about back in the day being a Wednesday…and I’m always tempted to say that…and then I remember that Dane Cook hasn’t been popular in about 8 years.
• We saw Paper Towns while we were at the beach! It’s the latest John Green film adaption and it was SO good. If you’re looking for a coming of age story with an honest twist, this one’s it!
• What most people don’t know is that the website would not have happened without two of our students! Two of the boys from Cru came over two nights in a row to troubleshoot all of the little technical bugs. Noah and Ben, you’re lifesavers!
