The overwhelming feeling on Tre and Megan’s day was one of contentedness. And after Tre spent the last year overseas, why wouldn’t it be? Finally, they would get to be together. No more skyping and going months without seeing each other. Life was going to be better lived side by side.
So it just makes sense that Megan smiled slowly with tears in her eyes as she settled into her wedding dress. And that she laughed to herself as she read a letter from Tre. And that he rubbed his hands together nervously as she walked down the hill to meet him for their first look. And that he wrapped her up in the biggest hug when their eyes met. And then gushed endlessly over her. Because this was just as much as end as it was a beginning! The end of their life apart and the beginning of a marriage that will bring glory to God.
These two are just happy to live life by each other. Whether it’s laying out in a field reading or watching the stars on a cloudless night, they’re at peace together. And their wedding so reflected that. I’ve never seen a reception where guests are just content to chat the entire night, but it makes sense after seeing Tre and Megan’s love! They’ve surrounded themselves with people who care about what they care about: Jesus, authenticity, realness. And that’s pretty amazing.
Hope you enjoy their peaceful, joyful handmade wedding.
Believe it or not, the image on the left are the bride’s shoes :]
She’s a barefoot kinda girl :]
Megan, you are simply gorgeous.
Such a sweet first look.
Prayer with her besties before walking down the aisle.
Such a sweet moment. The new Mr and Mrs Mills and their guests all sang Hallelujah before the first kiss.
Megan put together SO much to make their day look wonderful!
