The 3rd of October was full of laughter and joy and…rain. But that didn’t matter, because Charlie and Brittany couldn’t be more happy to be married! After all, if it’s going to rain on your wedding day, it might as well be a hurricane, according to Brittany. The day flowed effortlessly. With Charlie counting down the minutes until he would finally see his bride and Brittany laughing with her bridesmaids in utter contentment. And when Brittany finally walked down the aisle to her almost husband, there wasn’t a dry eye in the sanctuary, as everyone saw just how moved Charlie was to see his almost wife.
The ceremony and guests spoke of Charlie’s live out loud personality, he’s a grand gesture type of guy and Brittany is in for such a fun and adventurous life by his side. The toasts spoke of Brittany’s servant’s heart, how it comes second nature and without hesitation to lay aside herself and be there for others. Charlie will never doubt how loved he is with Brittany in his life. And if that wasn’t enough, the room fell silent as Brittany’s father expressed just how much Charlie’s tearful reception at the end of aisle meant to him. And how easy it was to give his daughter away, knowing that was the type of man he was giving him to.
These two are just pure JOY, friends. They are big laughers and smiles come so easily in their presence. It was a privilege to be there for another Parrish wedding and watch as their sweet support system danced the afternoon away. From the emotional ceremony to the drizzly lavender exit, it was such a perfect day.
Just so calm and elegant :]
Such a fun group of groomsmen!
Both waiting patiently for that walk down the aisle.
Those sweet “just married” moments.
🙂
Their reception was scheduled to be outside, but they were more than happy to move it inside to their home church :]
So fun!
