George and Carolyn share a quiet and sure type of love. Carolyn and her bridesmaids laughed and chatted together while they waited for the moment that Carolyn could put on her gown. George and his guys joked back and forth and George anxiously counted down time until he’d see his bride. When Carolyn stepped into her dress a calm came over her, she was about to be a wife to her best friend! George shook out jitters as he heard Carolyn approaching and then they were in each other’s arms and everything was alright. And after spending so much time doing long distance, it was about time.
It was a peaceful and joyous evening surrounded by friends and family. Guests spent time catching up over a meal and the new Mr and Mrs Shorter flitted around the Kyle House, in the presence of those they love most. November 14th was just a true gathering of their little community, everyone who had gotten them to where they are now. And as George and Carolyn walked off into the night amid a tunnel of glow sticks and balloons, their guests cheered along, knowing that they are better together.
