It feels like it has been SO, so long since I’ve blogged! Like a full year ;] Okay, I couldn’t resist! Welcome to 2016 on the blog friends! I can’t believe that this will be the 4th full year of blogging at this address! For some reason the New Year gets me all nostalgic…and I’ve been doing a lot of looking back at how much things have changed in only a few years. If you told me three years ago when I went to What’s Next with Justin and Mary that I’d have a growing business today…I don’t think I would’ve believed you. But here we are and it’s all thanks for people like you and the sweet clients who have invested in us and trusted us their wedding days. So here’s a big thank you to start off 2016! THANK YOU FRIENDS!

This week has been a good one. As you know if you follow along on social media, I spent this last week at Radiate having my mind blown and heart reset before the new year started. And it was so needed and good. Nothing like getting challenged to start off your year right. And this last weekend was spent recovering from it all. Because living like a college student for a week is exhausting. Especially when you’re pregnant :] We spent Friday and Saturday doing almost nothing…watching TV, taking naps, eating :] It was a dream! I couldn’t believe we had two full days without a plan! And to cap it all off, I did our last session before baby Ollie yesterday evening! Time is moving quickly!

Ready, set, feels:

• I am on a smoothie kick. Like I’m obsessed. It all started on a late night this week when my friend Seth said, “You know what you need? A smoothie!” And then I couldn’t get it out of my head. And thanks to WONDERFUL college students, they delivered Mcdonald’s smoothies to me a few nights in a row.
• Surprisingly, Mcdonald’s smoothies are delicious.
•  I know that I’ve mentioned we’re obsessed with SharkTank. Well it’s still real. And it’s our favorite part about staying places that have cable. Like we talk about the sharks by using their first names. We’re on that level.
• We’ve been baby shopping like crazy and it is overwhelming! How can you ever be prepared for a new human entering your home and your life? If anyone’s got this down or just wants to tell me to chill and let it happen…I’m all ears :]
• Today is our anniversary session with Abby Grace! I’m so excited and nervous! And so thankful she’s willing to capture this season of life for us!
• Anyone else get an adult coloring book for Christmas? Loving. it.

Our last session before baby went out with a bang! We had so much fun with these two 😀 Also, are there any photogs headed to The Event with Justin and Mary tomorrow! Both David and I are and we are SO pumped.
