They met in accounting class. As Bob always says, “SO romantic, right?!” But that’s where our story begins. Salisbury University, in accounting class. With a textbook so ridiculously massive it prompted Bob to do what Bob does, throw out a joke, and hope that someone catches it. He jabbed at the accounting textbook, addressing no one in particular, and Megan caught his eye and laughed. Bob was smitten ever since. Even after dropping out of the class, he still found a way to cross paths with Megan, so their long walks across campus could become longer and longer. Eventually, it was inevitable. They were in love. And it started in accounting class.

So of course, that book is the one that Bob held onto, waiting for the perfect moment. He crafted it into a jewelry box, slyly gave it to Megan. She wondered why she had to encounter that terrible textbook again, but it all made sense when Bob said he had an important piece of jewelry for her to put in it. And then it was her turn to excitedly say “yes!” Bob just lights up when he looks at Megan. And Megan eases in the comfort of his arms. And Bob keeps everyone around him laughing, the same way he did that first day in class for Megan. Together, they’re set up to have the most fun life!

We had the best time walking around Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis with Megan and Bob. They retold their love story, we all laughed along at Bob’s thoughts on whatever we walked by, and we started counting down to their October wedding.
