It’s Monday and the snow entirely stole all my plans and my brain power, so today we’re taking a break from our regularly schedule depth of feels and moving on with something even better :] I 100% meant to share this post on Friday. But then we woke up to SO MUCH SNOW and it just didn’t feel right to be working when the rest of the world was snowed in from their jobs :] So I delayed.
I’ve been waiting to share this post for two months now! If you follow the blog for any amount of time you know that I love Abby Grace. She’s my go to for any questions about photography, owning a business, phrasing a “no” graciously….pretty much everything. She’s been mentoring me in business since the beginning and I couldn’t be better for it. And I love that, occasionally, I get to be a part of the AGP team! I’ve gotten to be at every A Practical Wedding Workshop behind the scenes and it is so fun! It’s something I really look forward to every time! There’s lots of making new friends, pouring coffee and tea, laughing obnoxiously at Abby’s jokes, and picking up new tips and tricks. And this time was extra fun because I knew a few of the photogs coming into it, so it was a mini reunion too 😀
And of course, there’s the all pretty. I think this was the best styled shoot yet! The day was a huge success from start to finish, and now that the shoot has been featured on Mod Wedding, we can share away! And share, I did. Today there’s lots of behind the scenes, lots of pretty, and some hilarious outtakes that result from doing a styled shoot while it’s starting to rain in November :] Enjoy!
This is Abby’s super serious face. Only used for explaining correct battery organization :]
She’s so dang cute! And hi Klaire!
Lily wasn’t quite as enthralled as everyone else with the teaching.
Lunch and dinner times are so fun! It’s an all out Q&A and laugh fest!
And onto the shooting portion of the day! So fun!
Everyone was admiring the peonies, and Kat’s periscope game was so strong.
Real life behind the scenes: umbrellas everywhere, leaves raked out of the way, and Kat holding those florals like a champ.
I’m not sure what’s happening on the right, but it’s so ABBY that I couldn’t resist sharing.
We all took in the gorgeous tablescape in shifts.
And onto the pretty :] Kat really out did herself. Keep a lookout for the vendor list at the end of the post!
Can you tell this was inspired by everything french and lovely?
Raindrops on all the pretty details made it even more wonderful!
Back to behind the scenes!
Kat doing her thang.
This is Abby’s reaction to one of her posing examples TOTALLY HAPPENING right in front of all of our eyes. We all had a good laugh because the models were perfect :]
It’s a fun day all around!
And now for the romance.
Just love.
And this is what it takes to get macarons not to melt in the rain :]
