Well, friends. My last post warned that I might disappear from the blog soon due to baby Ollie’s arrival. And a few short hours later, totally terrified, we were headed into the hospital. In the middle of an ice storm. At midnight. Of course. I’m sure I’ll share more of Oliver’s birth story at a later date (if there’s any interest in that), but what you need to know is: he’s here!

Our little baby that we’ve been waiting on since June made his debut. And he really couldn’t be sweeter or cuter. We’re smitten. We thought our puppy was cute, but little did we know… (seriously, I was concerned I wouldn’t think our baby was as cute as I thought neville was) And for all of you with little ones, you already know…being a parent is really hard. It’s exhausting. And it takes all of your attention. And obviously and thankfully, those pockets of sweetness and joy make it totally worth it.

Anyways, there’s so much I could say. But for now, I just wanted to pop in and introduce you to our little boy. He’s our new love. And he’s made us into a little family.

PS : I’m a self proclaimed workaholic…I love my jobs, so as much as there’s something in me that itches to get back to work (even 9 days after his birth), I’m forcing myself to answer emails slower, spend time offline, and just “be” with our little guy. Because I know I need to treasure this time with him and that there will be a time (probably soon) when I wish he was still so small. All that to say, the blog will be quieter for a few weeks. But rest assured, I am STILL doing wedding photography :] We’re still booking for this summer season and we’re SO excited about our sweet clients. So feel free to pop me an email! I promise I’m still here, just taking some maternity leave :]
