Well I said I’d try to make it back in time for another post before Monday! And that just wasn’t in the cards for me and Ollie 😉 But I’ve got it planned! I promise I’ll be back tomorrow to share something pretty with you guys!

This week was a good one! It was an official back to business week! YAY! We had our first engagement session since January! We went for about 2.5 months without doing any shooting! Unless, of course, it was a short photo session of Ollie 🙂 Anyways, it was so wonderful to be back. Spending time with one of our 2016 couples brought life to my soul and it makes me even more excited for this very full-of-sessions April!

Other than that, we spent some quality time with David’s mom which was nice. And spent time with my sister for Easter. Easter is one of my favorite weekends every year. Such a good, refocusing time to remember Jesus, risen from the grave. Every year I’m refreshed by grace and feeling alive in His love. And that was only made better by getting to spend a relaxing day with the family yesterday. Good food and quality couch time together. Recipe for a good Sunday. And a bonus was that Kelsey held Ollie while we napped :]

Time for feels.

• A few days ago, David had to ask me how old he was. Seriously. “…you’re twenty seven.”
• Finally, finally we saw the Disney Pixar movie the Good Dinosaur. And it was weird. Does anyone else out there have feedback? Because it felt like a Lion King ripoff that happened to have stunning graphics.
• Instagram’s algorithm is changing and people are freaking out. Yes, the change from chronological posting has some of us creatives sweating, but you know the perfect way to keep KPP (and all of your favorite accounts) in your feed? Interact with me! Likes and comments insure that I won’t disappear from your feed as Instagram makes their changes!
• How do you know a couple is a winner? They bring their date night onesies to their session. Love.
• For Easter, we made two types of bread. This cheesy bread that was clearly a winner for the second time around. Followed by ice cream bread. Carb Perfection.
• I don’t enjoy watching basketball. Probably from that first year of dating David where that’s all we did :] But this year I filled out a bracket. And using my fool proof method of choosing whichever team I liked the location of best, (leading me to pick the Hawaii upset ;)), I have ended up almost in last. Fool proof.
