It’s the last week of school and everything is magical. The sun is shining. The puppies are out of their houses. And David has one more night class. Ever. Because I’ll never let him go to school again. (only kind of kidding)
But seriously. I love this week. The sun coming out and the not too hot weather reminds me that summer is right around the corner. And the seniors finishing up gives me all the feels. It always makes me think of my last week of college and what an exciting and bittersweet time it is. This year is especially bittersweet because we have SO many seniors graduating. Ministry’s tough. There’s so much transition every year. So much trusting God to finish what He has started in these lives. But it’s good to send them out and celebrate all that has changed in their four years at Radford. There’s going to be a lot of tears these next two weeks. But a lot of joy too.
This last weekend was jam packed! I went to both a baby and a bridal shower. And I photographed Ash Bush’s calligraphy workshop on Sunday. As well as attended a member’s meeting at church. And spent a lot of time in the hospital with my sister. (don’t worry, she’s fine, we laughed the entire time) All of this made for the most consecutive time away from Ollie. Which was both refreshing, and made me want all the snuggles when I got home. Now for some feels:
