Happy Monday dear friends! It’s a happy one indeed :] Because as of today, David’s officially done with grad school! YES!
This season of life has been hard, and good. We’re grateful that David was able to attend school and spend time pursuing his masters. We’re thankful that he got to experience being a student again. And that it gave us a little clarity on what the future will look like for us. But grad school is a lot of work. A lot. And the last few months he has just wanted to be done! So thank goodness that he finally is! It was a good season, but we’re glad that it’s over. Now onto celebrating and his hooding ceremony this weekend :]
We’re also closing a season of life with some of the college students. There’s a huge group of seniors and last week was full of goodbyes. We had our last senior small group and celebrated all that God has done in their lives. They’ve been changed by Jesus in their time at school and it was incredible to look around the room and recount all that’s happened in four years. We also got to send them out at our Cru large group meeting and it gave me all the tears. (especially because I’d been working for weeks on a video for them and when I finally finished and it was all types of emotional) Thankfully, so many of them are sticking around the area, so it’s not goodbye quite yet!
And as you can seeeeeee…our first wedding of the year was this Saturday! Ahhh! My body was not quite used to shooting weddings, it’s been awhile, so I experienced a post wedding hangover like no other. Not the drinking kind of hangover. The standing on your feet, carrying heavy gear, long day type of hangover. So I spent yesterday feeling like I got hit by a truck. But it was all worth it for the magic of a wedding day. Especially because it was for our friend and coworker, LeeAnn! And my sister was in the wedding party! All good things, all around.
Now for feels:
Annnnnnd just in case you haven’t seen these two on Facebook. John and LeeAnn were STUNNING all day long! More soon, friends!
