Something that I super love about the creative industry right now is all of the collaboration! There’s a movement towards community and working together thanks to things like the Rising Tide Society and the Creative at Heart Conference. And it’s even more fun when those creatives you want to collab with live in your little town :]

Ashley Bush is a calligrapher and pen maker in Radford, VA. And her business has SO taken off in the last year and a half or so. She’s amazing at what she does and has such a fun flair on her art. Also, her and her husband make nib holders and they’re adorable/beautiful. So it really comes as no surprise that when she announced her workshop for intro to calligraphy, attendees were willing to come all the way out to Radford Coffee Co to learn from her! Also I think it helps that she’s hilarious and fun :] Definitely one of my favorite people to be around!

Because it was Ashley, everything was confetti-ed and unicorns galore! The workshop was designed beautifully and the attendees had a blast learning. The rooms was full of laughter all afternoon! I even got to give lettering a try :] I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek into an AshBush workshop!
