My little baby looks more like a little boy than he does a baby. And he started crawling two days ago. How? Why?! We’re going to need to do some serious baby proofing this weekend :]
I really am just in awe of the fact that Oliver has been alive for half a year. He’s the cutest little chunk and we’re getting to see more of who he is every day. Now that all the college students are back (and commenting on how he’s GIANT) I’m realizing just how much he grew this summer. He’s truly giant. He’s in like the 75th-90th percentile in just about everything. And our arms grow tired quickly when we’re carrying him around! He’s into just about everything. His favorite things are my necklace and every burp cloth that he can find. For some reason he loves waving those around!
Other recent Ollie loves: being tossed around by his papa. Seriously, nothing makes him laugh harder. He’s giggling as I type :] He LOVES eating and he loves chewing on spoons even more. Oh and he loves jumping. Whether he’s in his exersaucer or his door jumper, he’s a jumping machine. He’ll stay in there for at least a half hour, totally entertained by himself. He’s still sleeping like a champ and it seems like he loves his crib :] He’s still super into Neville and loves grabbing onto his fur. (thankfully, Nev takes it like a champ) Other brand new development…babbling! At some point of the day we can always find him “bah-bah-bahhhh”ing.
Gosh, life with him is not what we expected, but it sure is good. Especially now that our schedules are busier and we don’t see him quite as much, we’re realizing just how much we love him.
