You’ve heard me gush. You know I love me some Abby Grace. I forever feel lucky to have someone like her to help push my business along. She’s a fierce cheerleader and a very successful boss lady :] She is about 95% responsible for the fact that I’m a small business owner in the first place!
Often times, when you have a small business, it can be a lonely job. Yep, you’ve got a cubicle that’s house sized and you can work from your couch (serious perk), but you’ve also got no coworkers! I like to think of Abby as one of my coworkers :] She’s my favorite person to bounce ideas off of! And my favorite person to go to when I’ve got a tough business question! She’s always willing to pick up a phone call and listen. And she graciously gives of herself to help me succeed.
A few weeks ago, she invited me into her office to take some images of her and her husband/real coworker Matt and as usual, it was full of laughter and movie quotes. As you can imagine, her office is classy and practical, with some hints of ballet sprinkled about. And I loved getting to see her out from behind the camera! What people often don’t realize, is that even though a photographer is a photographer…they’re in their office behind their computer way more than behind a camera! Our time in her office honors what she does day in and day out just as much as a “behind the scenes” shoot ever would! I love and look forward to getting to collaborate with other creatives on shoots like these!
All that to say, here’s a little tour of her office. And if you aren’t already attending her webinar tonight on how to email like a boss, than you are 100% missing out! She’s the best email-er I know!
