They met at summer camp when she was 16. They’d crossed paths over the years, growing up in the same town, always a few connections away from actually knowing each other. It wasn’t until last year that they really connected though. Simply because Tabitha started praying and Seth popped into her head. So yes, she made the first move. She reached out to him, and hoped it wouldn’t be too weird. Meanwhile, Seth desperately needed encouragement and it came in the form of Tabitha’s message. Just at the right time.
Seth and Tabitha’s story is what I would call “divine.” From God, orchestrated by Him, no question about it. It was thrilling to listen to Tabitha share all of the little things that led up to them dating. It was like flipping through a storybook, each detail more exciting and unbelievable than the last. Tabitha said she felt like she knew for sometime that she and Seth would be together. But still, she was shocked when he asked her to go to coffee. And that’s how it went, God continually affirming what Tabitha already felt to be true. Seth was made for her.
As we walked through the parks in Radford, Seth and Tabitha sharing their story all the while, you could see that that was true. They’ve got an easy presence around each other. Content to walk hand in hand, sharing comfortable silence. Or sharing whispered inside jokes, smiling at each other every few steps. Tabitha’s smile when Seth holds her tight is radiant. And Seth is more at ease when Tabitha’s in his arms. David and I have known Seth for a few years now, and it was so fun to get to spend time with him and his soon to be wife! We’re so, so excited for their October wedding :] Hope you enjoy their Radford engagement session!
Love this!
