They heard about each other before they ever met in person. Because their coworkers talked each of them up to the other one. Brian and Casey both worked as servers at a steakhouse. Casey was new, and Brian just so happened to be returning to work there while he was in between jobs. And the stars aligned. Casey had heard all about this blue-eyed Brian. And in turn, Brian had gotten the full story on Casey from his friends. They were matched together by their friends before they’d even seen each other in person! And when they finally met, Casey boldly introduced herself and the rest is sweet, beautiful history.
Casey was “his girl” before she even knew him. And even more now, it’s clear that that’s the way it was meant to be. You can see it in the way that she leans into him as they walk together. In the way that he brings out her truest smile. And when Brian smiles proudly at her, you can tell that he couldn’t feel more lucky to have found her. Add in their sweet golden retriever Sampson, and it’s the happiest little family. We spent their session walking down the paths behind their home. The same paths they walk with Sampson every day! It was a little glimpse into the joyous life they share. And I know that marriage will only heap on more joy for the two of them.
I can’t explain how much we enjoyed our time with Brian and Casey. They’re the kind of people who make you feel comfortable and welcome from the first time you meet. We laughed for approximately 90% of our time together! :] And we’ve been communicating over email since last December! So needless to say, it was super exciting to finally see them in person. They lived up to the hype, and we’re counting down to their November wedding at Shadow Creek. Hope you enjoy their engagement session!
Casey. You. Are. Fierce.
Loved this little field we found :]
That ring!
Such a fun outfit change :]
Thankfully, Brian and Casey also like to ballroom dance in the kitchen. And were happy to recreate the joy for me!
The way he smiles at her :]
Goodness gracious, you two.
