There was so much love in Matt and Ashley’s wedding day. From their sweet parents to their hilarious siblings to their giant bridal party full of best friends, there was just love all around. All day there was bustling around and whispered excitement, spying out the window as Ashley walked to her first look with Matt. Ashley was all smiles as she went to meet him and he smiled slow with a simple “You’re beautiful” when he opened his eyes to see her. Ashley included little nods to the marriages that had come before them and the legacy that they were a part of. My favorite was probably their ring warming ceremony. Guests passed around their wedding rings, warming them with a touch, extending well wishes and prayers. By the time Ashley was holding back tears as she said her vows, their rings had been passed between every guest there. All of their people. And then they were husband and wife, finally!

Ashley might be the most excited bride I’ve ever met. From our very first interaction she was just over the moon ecstatic to be getting married! And Saturday, the day she’d planned for for over a year was finally here! And Matt kept exclaiming how long he’d waited for that day, in the sweetest way. All of their planning paid off because it was the most fun party! Every guest was out of their seat dancing and Matt and Ashley were enveloped in hugs wherever they went. They were either singing with their bridal party and the band into the microphones or chatting with family off on the side of the dance floor. By the time the band played their last song, no one was ready to go home! The guests screamed for an encore and whisked Matt and Ashley up onto their shoulders. It was infectious to be around and it was more than the new Mr. and Mrs. Doot had ever imagined!

Matt and Ashley, we are so thrilled with you two! You’re so fun together and that was reflected in every part of your wedding day! So thankful to know you both!
