Engagements

There’s a special sort of connection when you’ve been together for so long. You know each others ins and outs and you’ve seen each other grow up. Better than that, you’ve grown up together. More and more in love all the time. Andrew and Jordie are just like that. They’ve been together through high school and college and they’ve truly grown up together and changed together. They’ve seen each other through the awkward stages, proms, hair cuts, going to college. They’ve tackled long distance for the last 4 plus years and now it’s finally their turn. There is so much for them to took forward to, a life time together, in the same place, with their sweet pup Eddy. Even so Jordie still carries a picture of that teenage boy she fell in love with in a locket that he gave her. Because the future is exciting, but what makes Andrew and Jordie great together is their history with each other.

Andrew and Jordie are so sweet together. From the moment I met them a few months ago, I could sense their excitement about the dating chapter of their relationship coming to a close. On their wedding day, they’ll have been together for 5 and 1/2 years! And you can just tell from the way they interact together. Andrew is a calm and steady source of strength for Jordie and Jordie is his light, smiling and laughing and exuding brightness as they walk hand in hand. You can tell by the way they look at each other that their greatest treasure in this world is one another. July 1st, 2017 is a countdown to being married, but even more so a countdown to being in the same place! Being “together” was their quick and unanimous reply when I asked what they were most excited for in marriage. You can tell they bring each other infinite joy and peace.

Andrew and Jordie, we had so much fun with you two and with Eddy! So excited for next summer when we get to do this all over again!
