Happy Monday to you, friends! It’s a glorious, chilly one because winter has arrived! There’s a crisp chill in the air and I’m wearing a hat indoors. This is a very good sign. It means that it’s time to be cozy and no one gets that crazy idea to go and enjoy the great outdoors. :] That’s a big win in my book. The next few months are going to be all about blankets and scented candles (sweater weather from bath and body works, of course) and cuddling out sweet babe.
This past week was chalk full of family! We got in 2.5 days with my family and 2.5 days with David’s before we headed back home. It was wonderful! Often times there’s so many people to see that we can get overwhelmed and leave break feeling even more tired than before. But this go around, we used our time well, we communicated a lot, and we got to spend a little bit of time with most family and even a few friends. We even got to take some fun detours along the way. We snuck in an hour or so of Black Friday shopping and we took Ollie to the zoo with David’s mom! I think it was way more fun for us than it was for him. But hey, he stared at a giraffe for awhile so that’s pretty cool.
Feels time.
That image below? New favorite! Shadow Creek provided great shelter from the wind last weekend and Sarah looked like an actual, literal princess in her dress!
