It’s the dreariest of Mondays! It’s been raining for a straight week here in Virginia and I won’t lie…I don’t hate it. Besides the fact that straightening my hair is basically pointless as soon as I go out into the rain, I’m loving the dreary weather. It makes me feel a little less bad that I can go most of a day without stepping outside. Seriously, sometimes I’m heading out around 6 or 7 and I ask David if it’s cold out. Because I just truly don’t know.

We’ve been realizing just how good we have it with Ollie these past few days. He’s been waking up in the middle of the night and it has totally exhausted us. It’s so rare that he doesn’t sleep well and we just don’t know how we’d function if he didn’t on a regular basis. He LOVES sleep and so do we! Besides our slight sleep deprivation, we had a great week. We’re finally back in our (new) routine and it is such a relief. I’m not naturally a self disciplined person, so I thrive on a schedule. We’ve got all of our hours figured out and I’m going through multiple calendars with washi tape to make it even more exciting/pretty. We’re ready for ya, 2017. We also got to spend time with college students again and that was so sweet. We love working on the business from home, but I think we’d go crazy without that human interaction throughout our week!

Here’s some feels for your Monday:

• We’ve been toying with the idea of starting a vlog. *Cue wide eyed emoji* We just think it would be fun and would be an additional way for you guys to get to know us and our weird life together. There would be a lot of behind the scenes, a lot of Ollie, us working from home, and going on slightly normal adventures. Any interest? Seriously?! Let us know!
• Last week, we binge watched “A Series of Unfortunate Events” and it was wonderful! I read all the books multiple times as they were released and it was so fun to see them on screen. We’re serious Neil Patrick Harris (affectionately NPH) fans and I loved how they worked the dark humor and random asides of Lemony Snicket into the show.
• Here’s how you know you’ve won at Chipotle: you go in with a gift card (so free), and then have to wait for fresh guac to be made. Not only do you get fresh guac, you get a buy one, get one coupon for waiting. And then the person next to you gives you their BOGO coupon. That set us up for future Chipotle visits like woah.
• On any given day you’ll hear me working to the tunes of Moana, Hamilton, the Hamilton mixtape, or a playlist of love songs David made me. I’m the kind of person who will play a song on repeat until everyone around me is sick of it. (except for Ollie :])
• Even when he’s awake at 4:30AM, Ollie just wants to have fun! He stayed up for a few hours just babbling and wanting to wrestle and smiling. It’s hard to be frustrated with his cute little face.
