Goodness gracious. I’m coming to you this Monday after QUITE the week. Like for real, I’m not sure how to put a good spin on it, except that it was comical how badly things went :] Sooooo I’m including a cute picture of Ollie for interest and for smiles. And because Ashley Powell sent over images to us at the perfect time! Ollie cuteness cures all.
This last week can be described by taxes and sickness. All the best things right :] Oh, and by cleaning our office. *facepalm* It was Radford’s spring break this week, so we had big plans to get some planning done, house-y things attended to, and of course, getting our taxes done. All of those things happened, but not without peril! First, I got sick. And then we drove to Northern VA in the midst of me being delirious/ill/slightly crazy to get our taxes done. Which is just a JOY if you’re a small business owner. It’s one of the very few downsides to owning your own business. And then when it felt like we were out of the woods, David and my mom and my grandma got really sick! So we extended our stay by a day because David was just not up to traveling. And my poor family was falling apart physically! My dad even texted me this morning to tell me he was sick too! It wasn’t the weekend we had planned on, that’s before. I spent Saturday evening checking on everyone and refreshing youtube videos for Ollie. Sooooo all of that to say…get your flu shots people. This is serious business. Our saving grace is that Ollie has been A-OK minus not being a stellar sleeper lately.
I think it’s time for some feels. Some way more playful feels. :]
TBT to when we found out that ice cream was Ollie’s favorite too.
